She continues to improve steadily.
They still had the heart catheter in as of last night, but inferred they should be taking it out last night or this morning.
I'm working on a post about this prcedure, as I'm still in amazement that it's possible, but, it will probably be next week before I post it.
Things here in NYS are still cold, single digits this morning. We've got a fairly major winter storm headed for the East Coast today, which means we'll probably head South on Saturday.

I am glad to hear she continues to improve. I had a Cardiac Catheterization when I had my heart attack. It is amazing what they can do now medically. With continued good wishes and prayers.

We're all pulling for her. I'm glad she's coming through it so well. Yes, for all the flack the medical community takes, they can really do some great things. I find that its not the critical care that falls down, but the "getting better/keeping in touch" part. That's been my experience. Still, I hope your mom continues to do well.

Nanina - The cath was one of the most amazing procedures I've ever had.. watching all the arteries just appear on the monitor was like something from Sci-fi...
Firehawk - I think you're exactly right... they handle the crisis exteremly well... it's the recovery process where things tend to slip. This hospital though, has a post-operative home visitation service where they send folks to the house to check on your progress. I'm encouraged by this.
Ilene - All's really going well, we were all laughing yesterday that we actually slept Wednesday night... With she day she's doing so much better.
Liz - The recovery is nothing short of incredible to witness... the weather... well me and the weather have an understanding, if it doesn't mess with me, I won't mess with it! :)
Ammie - Thanks, we're all, Mom included, doing very well.
